This is a complete e-transcription of the manuscript Basel, Universitatbibliothek, A X 44, which contains the notes that the Dominican Henricus de Rinfeldia collected during his years as a student at the University of Vienna in the last decade of the 14th century.
This e-transcription is an innovative experiment developed to guide the reader to explore a rich and stimulating collection of philosophical and theological texts (disputations, aulares, Sentences questions, fragments of treatises, scholarly exchanges, etc.)
This e-transcription is also a tool to help the reader navigate through different types of medieval academic scripts and to become familiar with scholastic abbreviations in a wide range of contexts. The full transcription of the manuscript allows direct access to images of the medieval document in such a way that the presentation of the Latin text illustrates and leads to a vivid understanding of the intimate relationship between the material condition of the document, on the one hand, and the doctrinal aspects of its philosophical and theological contents, on the other, in the framework of the intellectual production of a medieval university at the end of the 14th century.
This e-transcription was designed and supervised by Monica Brînzei.
